Kyndra Lavon Semler, 34, of Henrietta, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.

Kyndra was born on April 6, 1988, in Kansas City, the daughter of Clint and Claudia L. (Riley) Semler.

Survivors include: her mother, Claudia Semler of the home; fiancé, Teddy Scobee of Independence; son, Justus Clinton Alan Scobee of the home; daughter, Allison Lavon Acton of Lincoln; three half-brothers: Shannon, Shawn, and Shane Semler; a special aunt and uncle also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Kyndra was reared and educated in the area of her birth.  After receiving her education locally, she attended cosmetology school in Independence.  She was currently working at Great Clips in Excelsior Springs.  Kyndra was a very strong-willed, independent person with a very kind heart.  She loved animals, especially her dog, Tank.  Her children were her biggest joy.
