LaDonna Lynn Ford, 61, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024.

LaDonna was born on May 8, 1962, the daughter of Robert Donald Leroy and Carolyn (Wilson) Ford.

Survivors include:  two daughters, Marci (Shannon) Patrick of Independence and Heather (Douglas) Hendrickson of Richmond; four brothers, Donald Ford of Richmond, Bobby (Sheri) Ford of Richmond, Anthony (Jessica Taylor) Foster of Richmond, and Shane (Betsy) Hayes of Richmond; six grandchildren, Ayvree Patrick, Noah Patrick, Josh Patrick, Austin James, MacKenzie James, and Colton Pendleton; four great grandchildren; special friend, Robert Rodgers. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved pets.

LaDonna was reared and educated in Ray County. She loved to plant flowers, was an avid gardener, loved to live on the farm, camping, and fishing. She enjoyed anything old-fashioned or antique. She also collected porcelain dolls. LaDonna was a big Dolly Parton, Kansas City Chiefs, Wheel of Fortune, and Price is Right Fan. She enjoyed taking part in many Civil War reenactments. She also enjoyed demolition derbies and going to the Mushroom Festival. Her all-time favorite holiday was Christmas. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home 507 East Main Street Richmond, M.O.
