LARRY F. DARLING

Larry F. Darling, 67, of Richmond, MO, died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.

Larry was born on January 8, 1949 in Liberty, MO to Floyd and Elizabeth (Williams) Darling. He married Donna K. Knight of Mount Vernon, IL on July 26, 1980.

Survivors include, his wife, Donna K. Darling of Richmond; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Kevin Carothers of La Cygne, KS; one brother, David Ross of Gower, MO; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty and Bob White of Independence, MO, Delores Pence of Liberty and Kay and Bill Janicke of Plattsburg, MO; and three grandchildren, Chaz McAloose, Chiann Carothers and Clayton Carothers.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Sean Darling; and two sisters, Linda Darling and Mary Ann Hoy.

Larry was a self-employed carpenter for 20 years. He also was a truck driver for several years. Larry lived in Richmond the last 30 years.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Wayside Waifs.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date.
