LARRY G. HOLTZCLAW

Larry G. Holtzclaw, 55, of Hardin, MO died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at his home.
Larry was born on November 7, 1960 in Braymer, MO to Charles and Bernice (Fields) Holtzclaw.
Survivors include, 4 sons and four daughters-in-law, Dustin and Cassandra Holtzclaw of Chillicothe, MO, Michael and Kelly Holtzclaw of Holt, MO, Joshua and Sarah Holtzclaw of Chillicothe and Jacob and Heather Holtzclaw of Chillicothe; 4 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Robert O. and Lois Holtzclaw of Lincoln, MO, Bill D. Holtzclaw of Excelsior Springs, MO, Charles J. Holtzclaw of Princeton, MO and Wayne and Shirley Holtzclaw of Excelsior Springs; 2 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law, Dixie A. and Wayne Klingsmith of Chillicothe and Wanda F. and Billy McElwee of Braymer, MO; and 13 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Janie Diane (Culpepper) Holtzclaw; 1 son, Timothy R. Holtzclaw; and 4 brothers, John Holtzclaw, and 3 brothers who died in infancy, Herman, George and Hank Holtzclaw.
Larry was an assembler for Lear Corporation. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local. He had lived in Excelsior Springs and Richmond before moving to Hardin. Larry was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to snag spoonbill. He was of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. MO. Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lawson Cemetery.
