LAURA REBECCA HOLMAN

Laura Rebecca Holman, 71, of Hardin, MO died at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday, January 03, 2012 at North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City, MO.
Becky was born on September 13, 1940 in Ray County, MO to John P. and Jessie (McComas) Halterman. She married Edwin "Eddie" F. Holman of Lexington, MO on July 22, 1960. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include; three sons, Timothy W. Holman of Punta Gorda, Florida, Gary D. Holman of Cabool, MO and Leslie S. Holman of Liberty, MO; three brothers, Roy A. Halterman of Malta Bend, MO, Robbie Halterman of Marshall, MO and Ronnie Halterman of Richmond, MO; one sister and brother-in law, Gail J. and Sam Green of Richmond, MO, three grandchildren, Amy Holman, Jessica Johnson, Erik Holman; one great-grandson, Derek Tush and a special niece, Marsha Kolkmeyer and her husband, Leland of Wellington, MO, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Halterman and four sisters, Dixie Luehrman, Marcella Crawford, Peggy Holman and Meta Houston.
Becky was a homemaker. She was a 1958 graduate of Hardin High School. She was a waitress for Rita's Diner in Hardin. She was a member of the Hardin Christian Church. She lived in Hardin most of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Laura Rebecca Holman memorial fund.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Hardin Cemetery in Hardin, Missouri.
