LAWRENCE B. "LARRY" STEVENS

Lawrence B. "Larry" Stevens, 81, of Norborne, MO died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Carrollton, MO.

Larry was born on December 20, 1934 in St. Louis, MO to Raymond and Elsie (Hammer) Stevens. He married Norma J. Hughes of St. Louis on September 22, 1955. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Dennis and Peggy Stevens of Norborne and Daniel and Laurie Stevens of Scottsdale, AZ; one daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Mark Kinworthy of St. Charles, MO; 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Stevens and "Butchy" Stevens.

Larry was a member of the Missouri Army National Guard. He was a diesel mechanic for several years. Larry lived in Norborne since 2002. He was of the Christian faith. His favorite hobby was working on vehicles. Larry loved everyone in his own way.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Crossroads Hospice.
