Lealla Margaret Pulliam, 100, of Richmond, died Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Lealla was born on May 2, 1920, in Strasburg, ND, the daughter of Cornelius and Gertrude (VanSheuer) VanSoest. She was united in marriage to Denzil William Pulliam, of Turney, on June 10, 1940; he preceded her in death on September 19, 2010.
Lealla leaves behind: daughter, Beverly J. Parker of Richmond; three grandchildren: Laura MacMillan, Tom (Paula) Parker, and Monte (Rebecca) Parker; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother Melvin VanSoest of Logansport, IN; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
In Addition to her parents and husband, she preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Maurice VanSoest, six sisters, Verna VanSoest, Anna Wilcox, Jeanetta Bourerle, Mabel Reeves, Gertrude Little, and Mildred Taylor, and her son-in-law, Bill Parker.
Lealla was a farm wife and homemaker. The family farmed near Millville. Lealla was known for her wonderful cooking. She was a loving, caring, Christian woman who loved her church and family. She never had a negative thing to say about anyone. She was a member of the Millville United Methodist Church. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Visitation with Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Thurman Funeral home, Richmond, with visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M., with services to follow at 3:00 P.M.
