LEE ROY RENNER, SR.

Lee Roy Renner, Sr., 71, of Rayville, MO died at 2:05 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Lee Roy was born on December 1, 1939 in Neosho, MO to John and Josephine (East) Renner. He married Mary A. Henning of Cole Camp, MO on May 30, 1959; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include three daughters and sons-in-laws, Debra and Steven Davis of Richmond, MO, Theresa and Mike Phillips of Richmond, MO and Terri and Brad Wellman of Excelsior Springs, MO; 8 grandchildren and their spouses, Tara and Justin Eidson, Becky Davis, Megan Davis, Amy Phillips, Angela Phillips, Amanda and Kevin Nichols, Dustin Wellman and Dakkota Wellman; 4 great-grandchildren, Preston Jones, Elli Sutton, Tatum and Taylor McGlothin; 2 brothers Pete and Mary Renner of Neosho, MO and George and Mona Renner of St. Petersburg, FL.
In addition to his parents, Lee Roy was preceded in death by one son Lee Roy Renner Jr; one brother, William Renner, and five sisters. Syble Hagston, Dixie Luetjen, Jewell Hook, Vay Johnson and Katherine F. Crawford.

Lee Roy was a painter for Ford Motor Company for 41 years before retiring in 2001. He had lived in Kansas City area before moving to Rayville in 1964. He was a member of the Rayville Christian Union Church. He was a member of the Richmond Lodge #57 AF & AM, U.A.W Union #249 and Rayville Saddle Club.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Rayville Christian Union Church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Rayville Christian Union Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond with a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Crowley Cemetery in Rayville. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
