Lena Lue Ross, 87, of Liberty, MO and formerly of Orrick, MO died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Valley Manor in Excelsior Springs, MO.

Lue was born on November 17, 1930 in Orrick, MO to Paul and Lucille (Dorton) Turner. She married Robert E. "Bobby" Ross of Orrick on March 27, 1952. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1980.

Survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, Dirk and Debby Ross of Liberty; 3 grandchildren, Justin Ross, Jarod Ross and Jordan Ross and his wife, Keelie; and 5 great-grandchildren, Josilynn, Nash, Julian, Zachary and Kenna.

Lue was a 1948 graduate from Orrick High School. She worked as a business secretary over the years for several places including; William Jewell College and Overhead Door Company in North Kansas City, where she retired from.  Lue was of the Methodist faith and belonged to the United Methodist Church in Orrick. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Lue liked reading, crossword puzzles and going to the casino.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Liberty Hospice.
