LENORA W. (KRESIN) McNISH

Lenora W. (Kresin) McNish, 90, originally of Norborne, MO died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Shannon Medical Center, San Angelo, TX.

Lenora McNish was born April 4, 1925 in Norborne, MO to John and Louise (Placke) Kresin.  She married Seford (Mac) McNish of Norborne on January 16, 1949.

Other survivors include two daughters, Kimberly E. Drehle (Gerald son-in-law) of San Angelo, TX and Karen J. Thomas (Mark son-in-law) of Castle Rock, CO; one brother Raymond Kresin of Norborne, MO; four grandchildren Jordan Ray Drehle, Devon Wayne Drehle, Cory Daniel Drehle, and Dalton Ryan Thomas.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Seford (Mac) McNish, one sister Leona Marie who died in infancy, and two brothers, John, Jr. and Walter Richard.

Lenora McNish enjoyed spending time with her family.  She loved gardening, volunteering with the youth as a 4-H leader, and loved nature.

She would want everyone to celebrate her life and not grieve for her.  She loved God, life, her family, and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Lutheran Cemetery or Lutheran Church (Norborne).

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne, MO. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Norborne.
