Linda Joyce Hamblen 68, a resident of Carrollton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at her home. Linda was born on July 25, 1956 to Harold F. and Jaunita (Staton) Kinder. Linda married Robert E. Hamblen on August 10, 1996, he preceded her in death on December 14, 2010.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Glenda (Thomas) Albrecht of Carrollton and Donna (Patrick) Henson of Carrollton; sister, Dora Kinder Anderson of Carrollton; five grandchildren, Brent (Maddison) Schenk, Natashia (Elysha) Endicott, Sheldon (Carly) Endicott, Tyler (Jessica) Endicott, and Alexis Henson; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Doris England, and grandson, Mason Albrecht.

Linda was born and raised in Carrollton, where she attended school and proudly graduated from Carrollton High School. She had a deep love for the outdoors, often found tending to her yard and garden, where she found peace and joy. Above all, Linda cherished the time spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will continue to inspire and comfort her loved ones for years to come. A devoted member of the Lutheran faith, Linda was an active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Carrollton. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to family and faith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
