Linda Diane Hughes, 71, of Richmond, MO, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO.

Linda was born on December 24, 1952, in Richmond, VA, the daughter of Harlan Lee and Catherine Rose (Milburn) Woods, Sr.  She was united in marriage to Stephen "Steve" Edward Hughes of Kansas City, MO, on March 7, 1981; he survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by: two sons, Jason (Stephanie) Hughes of Richmond, MO, and Jesse (Stephanie) Hughes of Grain Valley, MO; stepdaughter, Aimee Hughes of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren: Marianna Hughes, Kobe Hughes, Kora Hughes, and Kashlyn Hughes; two brothers, Donald (Judy) Sheffer of Richmond, VA, and Harlan "Buzz" (Janice) Woods of Gasburg, VA; and sister, Peggy (Dick) Jubar of Oneonta, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Melvin Woods.
