LLOYD WAYNE "BUDDY" MILLER

Lloyd W. "Buddy" Miller, 72, of Richmond, MO died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Buddy was born on January 15, 1945 in Lewistown, MO to Donald Wayne and Cora (Vanatta) Miller. He married Millisa Annette Hopkins of Richmond on June 9, 1995. She survives of the home.

Survivors include; 4 sons, Kevin Miller of Iowa, Kyle Miller of Iowa, Shawn Ritchie of Warrensburg, MO and Kevin Ritchie of Camden, MO; 5 daughters and one son-in-law, Kelly Hays of St. Joseph, MO, Melissa of Aledo, IL, Michelle Crose of Florida, Melinda Welty of Rock Island, IL and Amy Miller-Moore and her husband, Daniel of Richmond; 7 brothers, Jim, Danny, David, Bruce, Bill, Mike and Joe; 5 sisters, Sharon, Julie, Pam, Jodie and Lisa; 20 grandchildren including; Mikaela and Dalton and a few great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by 1 sister, Connie Jo.

Buddy worked for S&K in Lexington, MO. He was a janitor at the Stet School. He also worked for Orbseal "Henkel" in Richmond. Buddy was always working and could never sit still. Buddy was known as a big joker.  He loved his family and enjoyed NASCAR.  He was of the Christian faith and lived in Richmond most of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shirkey Foundation.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2; 00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date.
