LOIS JANE BROOKS

Lois Jane Brooks, 65, of Shawnee, KS died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at her home.
Lois was born on December 12, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. Her parents where Daniel H. and Lois (Mallory) Patton.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Patty Brooks of Phoenix, AZ, Bryan Brooks and his fiancé, Sheri Barger of Rich Hill, MO and Paul Brooks of Kennett, MO; six grandchildren, Jessica Brooks, Blake Brooks, Morgan Brooks, Sierrah Brooks, Avery Brooks and Jordynn Brooks; one great-granddaughter, Bentleigh Brooks; and one brother, Daniel Patton of Kansas City.
Lois was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith. She had lived in the Kansas City area most of her life.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
