LORI JEAN O'DELL

Lori Jean O'Dell, 38, of Henrietta, MO died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, MO.

Lori was born on December 13, 1975 in Richmond to Jerry E. O'Dell and Linda J. (Wilson) Mangels.

Survivors include her father, Jerry E. O'Dell and his companion, Anna of Richmond; her mother and step-father, Linda and Kent Mangels of Kansas City, MO; one son, Jordan Alan Merriman of the home; two daughters, Heather Nicole Adams and Janessa Lexi Silvers all of the home; two brothers, Jerry O'Dell of Orrick, MO and Tyler O'Dell of Orrick; two sisters and brother-in-law, Jennifer Wright of Polo, MO and Jessica and Jon Johannes of Parkville, MO; paternal grandmother, Ida O'Dell of Richmond; and maternal grandparents, Bessie and Ray Wilson of Excelsior Springs. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Lori was preceded in death by her infant son, Austin O'Dell.

Lori was a very loving, devoted mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend. She enjoyed camping, rodeos, horses, spending time with her children and family get-togethers. She attended school in Richmond. Lori lived most of her life in the Richmond area.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lori Jean O'Dell memorial fund.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Richmond.
