LUCILLE WADE CLEMENTS
Lucille Wade Clements, 87, of Richmond, MO, died at 9:46 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2010 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Lucille was born September 1, 1923 in Ripley, TN to Walter Cleveland and Mable Eliza (Reynolds) Newman.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Frank Henry Clements and wife, Ginger of Westlaco, TX; one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann O'Dell and Fred of Richmond; one brother, Howard Beaudreaux of Memphis, TN; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Myrtle May Wallace of Drummons, TN, Mary Frances Miller-Hauf of Danville, IL, Lu "Tiny" and John Walsh of Drummonds, TN and Betty Jo Booth of Tampa, FL ; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert A. Newman and Walter Martin "Bud" Newman; and two sisters, Melba Ruth Snowling and Jean Porter.
Lucille was a homemaker. She had lived in the Richmond area most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith. She was owner and operator of the Kansas City House Apartments for several years in Excelsior Springs, MO. She was an R.S.V.P. Officer at the Eagleton Center in Richmond for several years.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude's Hospital.
Graveside services will be Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dockery Cemetery in Dockery MO. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
