MARGARET LEE SEEK

Margaret Lee Seek, 73, of Richmond, MO died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Margaret was born on November 29, 1940 in Hodge, MO to Harmon and Bessie (Pangborn) White. She married Charles E. Seek of Lexington, MO on January 22, 1965; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include her children; Steven Lee and Sheila Renee' Seek of Richmond, Teresa Ann Seek of Richmond and Ricky Duane Seek of Rayville, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Jolene White of Powersville, MO; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Payne of Independence, MO, Delores and Jim Foltz of Lexington and Linda Sue Fisk of Lexington; five grandchildren, Nathan Seek, Justin Seek, Elisha Harrison, Riley Seek and Shelby Seek; and 6 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one brother, Harmon Lee White, Jr.; and one brother-in-law, Harold Payne.
Margaret was an In-Home Daycare Provider for 33 ½ years. She was a charter member of the Richmond Christian Chapel and taught Sunday school. She belonged to different Sewing Clubs and the Friendly Neighbors Extension Club. She loved cooking, traveling, gardening, flea markets, garage sales and genealogy. She was a fine Christian woman and loved reading the Bible. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret had lived in Richmond most of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond Assembly of God Church.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
