Marian B. Calvert, 85, of Richmond, MO, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Mrs. Calvert was born November 26, 1928 in Ray County, MO to Lester and Anna (Blair) Tolley.   She married Howard Gene Calvert of Hale, MO, on October 11, 1945; he preceded her in death on March 22, 2013.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Marcia Calvert of Richmond; one daughter, Carolyn S. Stimelsky and her companion, Bill Parker of Richmond; five grandchildren, Amy Calvert Cowick, Ryan Calvert, Jerin Calvert and his wife, Cody, Jennifer LaBlanc and Kimberly Mullin; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lisa Ann Watkins; and two great-grandchildren, Skylar Hertzig and Seth Mullin.

Mrs. Calvert was a homemaker.  She attended the Henrietta Baptist Church and was a Charter Member of the Ray County Fair Board.   She lived in the Richmond area most of her life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ray County Fair.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m., at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO.   Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO.  Burial will be in Richmond Memory Gardens, Richmond, MO.  Online condolences may be left for the family on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
