MARJORIE BELL BRUNSON

Marjorie Bell Brunson, 89, of Independence, MO, died at 10:32 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the Newmark Care Center in Nashua, MO.
Marjorie was born February 23, 1921 in Knoxville, MO to John Henry and Cora Bell (Campbell) Kincaid. She married Larry McCulley of Kansas City, KS on March 13, 1943; he preceded her in death January 18, 1965. She married Wayne W. Brunson of Independence, MO on May 21, 1966; he preceded her in death on March 25, 2005.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dorris Kincaid, Joseph J. Kincaid and John H. Kincaid; and five sisters, Florence VanBebber, Flossie A. Basham, Mary C. Risley, Helen F. Wollard and Julia Mae Russell.
Marjorie was an inspector for Western Electric before retiring in 1983. She also worked at Bruson Instrument Company for several years. She graduated from Polo (MO) High School in 1939. She lived most of her life in Independence. She was of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Burial will be at Sunny Slope Cemetery, Richmond, MO.
