Mark Alan Spratt, age 49, died Sunday, December 11th. He was born to Dennis and Sandy Spratt on May 13, 1973, in Kansas City, Missouri.

He attended Excelsior Springs schools graduating in 1991. He went on to further his education at Northwest Missouri State University where he received a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology and later attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he received his master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Mark worked for 25 years at Job Corps in many different positions. He began working at the Richmond Middle School in August of 2022 as the school counselor. Mark Spratt and Kim Snodgrass met at NWMSU and were married at St. John Lutheran Church on June 2, 2001.

Mark was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church. He earned his Eagle Scout Rank and was actively involved with the Boy Scout Troop 324. Mark loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Mark loved to garden. He was a jokester and loved to find the best gag gifts.

He is survived by his wife, Kim and children, Noah and Kalvin of the home; Mother Sandy Spratt of Richmond, Missouri; Brother Mike and Anna Spratt and children Logan and Riley of Liberty, Missouri; Brother-in-Law Kevin and Kristie Snodgrass and children Hadley and Caden of Eldridge, Iowa.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Noah Spratt and brother Dennis Dean Spratt.
