MARY SUE DAVIDSON

Mary Sue Davidson, 87, of Richmond, MO died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Neighborhoods Care Facility in Columbia, MO.

Sue was born on October 13, 1928 in Richmond to William J. and Nellie V. (Sullenger) Robinson. She married Claude Mervin Davidson of Richmond on June 1, 1946. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1984.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Patti Davidson of Marco Island, FL and Phillip and Diane Davidson of Columbia, MO; 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Adam Davidson, Angela and Bradford O'Neil, Abby Davidson, Matt and Crystal Davidson, Scott and Cyndi Davidson and Matthew Wortham; and three great-grandchildren, Samantha O'Neil, Emery Davidson and Bennett Davidson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sue was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Robinson; and four sisters, Nancy Anderson, Flo Morton, Margaret Ray and Bettie Robinson.

Sue worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of Agriculture (USDA) for 31 years before retiring. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #255 in Richmond. She was a member of the Ray County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Friends of the Farris in Richmond. Sue was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. She loved her flowers, gardening and most of all her grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Richmond First Baptist Church or to the Ray County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Richmond First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. where an O.E.S. service will be at 12:30 p.m. at the Richmond First Baptist Church.
