Mary Louise Elliott, 86, of Richmond died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Mary was born on December 17, 1931 in Richmond to Leon Perkins and Izora (Gibbs) Beard. She married Walter Elliott of Swanwick, MO on May 28, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1974.
Survivors include: one son, Carl William Elliott of Richmond; one daughter, Cornelia Maxine Elliott of Richmond; 5 grandchildren, James Tyrone Elliott, Jay Dexter, Sean Elliott, Amy Nichole Bowe and Caleb Morgan Ash; and 13 great-grandchildren, Diaz Elliott, Makhi White, Taiyah Elliott, Tatyana Elliott, Tyasia Elliott, Tailyah Elliott, Logan Anderson, Keyshawn Elliott, James Elliott, Jr., Shay Elliott, Zion Bowe, Mya Wilson and Akasha Wilson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one son, Harry James Elliott, two sisters, Neoma Nash and Delores Lee Millentree; and two nieces, Mary Frances Beard and Erma Jean Stigger.
Mary worked as a housekeeper at Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs, Ray County Memorial Hospital and Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. She was a member of the St. John's CME Church in Richmond. She was a lifelong resident of Ray County.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's CME Church in Richmond. Visitation will be Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
