MARY "KATHLEEN" GAULDEN

Mary "Kathleen" Gaulden, 93, of Richmond, MO died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Kathleen was born on January 11, 1923 in Rayville, MO to William and Lora (McGaugh) Loyd. She married James Wesley Gaulden of Polo, MO on February 23, 1949. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1995.
Survivors include; one grandson, John Sanders and his wife, Kristy of Kansas City, MO; one great-grandson, Jasyn Sanders; and one sister-in-law, Norma Loyd.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kathleen was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Kay Sanders; one brother, Emil Loyd; one great-grandson, Justyn Sanders; and one son-in-law, Louis John "L.J" Sanders.
Kathleen was a graduate from Lawson High School. She was a housekeeper and homemaker. Kathleen lived in Ray County most of her life. Kathleen was known for her big smile and loved to be a socialite. She also enjoyed working at the Ray County Senior Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richmond.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mary Kathleen Gaulden memorial fund.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
