MARY LOU HESSENFLOW

Mary Lou Hessenflow, 88, of Richmond, MO died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, MO.

Mary was born on October 29, 1927 in Clinton, MO to George J. and Anna A. (Harrelson) Butler. She married Alva Morris Hessenflow of Rayville, MO on May 31, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2016.

Survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Stephanie Hessenflow of Richmond; one sister, Dorothy Cooper of Independence, MO; four grandchildren, Neil Hessenflow, Chris Hessenflow and his wife, Rachael, Ryan Hessenflow and Victoria Hill; and two great-grandchildren, Audra Hessenflow and Gannon Hessenflow.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Grover Butler and George Butler, Jr.

Mary worked as a Retail Clerk for Kroeger Grocery Store for several years before retiring in 1986. She was of the Baptist faith. Mary lived in the Richmond area most of her life. She loved her family dearly.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Donor's Choice.
