MARY VIRGINIA ROSS
Mary Virginia Ross, 85, of Richmond, MO, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.
Mary was born on July 8, 1930 at Lexington, MO the daughter of George Irwin and Alta S. (Jones) Williams. She married William Lee "Bill" Ross of Camden MO on November 8, 1952; he preceded her in death on July 20, 2011.
Survivors include: two sons David Ross and his wife Barb of Richmond, Curtis Ross and his wife Michelle of Kearney; five grandchildren, Joanie Ross, Kent Ross and his wife Amie, Brian Ross and Jamie Luppes and her husband John and Mary Hinojos; six great grandchildren; and one brother Billy Williams and his wife Arlene of Omaha, Nebraska.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers: Vernon, Kenneth, Ira, George, Tom, Don, Joe and Gilbert; three sisters: Margaret, Evelyn and Betty.
Mary was a housewife and homemaker. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great joy in her family and was known for her country cooking. She will be missed by all. Mary had lived in Lexington, Henrietta, Camden and Richmond.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Liberty Hospital or Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff at Liberty Hospital and Shirkey Nursing & Rehabilitation for their special care for Mary.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Interment will be in Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
