MARY L. THORNHILL

Mary L. Thornhill, 65, of Hardin, MO died Monday, March 30, 2015 at River Bend Heights Care Center in Lexington, MO.

Mary was born on February 28, 1950 in Kansas City, MO to John W. and Martha Faye (Hontz) Lowman.

Survivors include; her father, John W. Lowman of Hardin, MO; one son, James W. Sturm; two daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Greg Tolle of Brighton, IL and Sheri and Mike Bartold of O'Fallon, MO; six grandchildren, Daemon Tolle, Jared Gamble, Joe Tolle, John Pierce, Morgan Bartold and William Bartold.

In addition to her mother, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Mae Sturm, who died in infancy and a brother, John W. Lowman, Jr.

Mary was a Baptist. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lexington. She was a sales associate for the last seven years at the Wal-Mart Store in Richmond, Mo. She had lived in Brighton, IL, before moving to Hardin in 2006.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice.

A memorial graveside service will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held on   Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Lexington, MO.
