MAXINE A. STEVENS

Maxine A. Stevens, 70, of Excelsior Springs, MO and formerly of Marysville, OH died Monday, July 7, 2014 at her home.
Maxine was born on October 9, 1943 in Tipp City, OH to William F. and Dolores Geraldine (Fox) Cooper. She married Rodger D. Stevens of Delaware, OH on October 21, 2000. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Laura Collier of Lebanon, OH; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Tracy Taylor of Amarillo, TX; one brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Deb Cooper of Springfield, OH; one step-son, Tye McClish of Durango, CO; one step daughter, Stephanie Pierce of Westerville, OH; 10 grandchildren, Maddy Collier, Zane Collier, Braeton Taylor, Seth Pierce, Sean Piece, Jacob Pierce, Abby Pierce, Lily McClish, Ryan Taylor and Aaron Taylor; and 3 great-grandchildren, Georgia, Vann and Remington Taylor.
Maxine was a retired Registered Nurse, after working several years in the medical field. She was of the Christian faith. Maxine had lived in Marysville, OH before moving to the Excelsior Springs area in February 2004.


Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Inurnment will be on August 10, 2014 in Lebanon, OH.
