MICHAEL DUANE BELL, Sr.

Michael Duane Bell, Sr., 60, formerly of Richmond, MO died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Grandview, MO.

Michael was born on April 20, 1956 in Richmond, MO to Harold and Dorothy Mae (Wilson) Bell, Sr.

Survivors include, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Jacquelyn Bell of Kansas City, MO and Waylon Taylor of Sioux City, IA; one daughter, Kinzie Brown of Kansas City; two brothers, Harold Bell, Jr., of Kansas City and Darryl Bell of Kansas City; two sisters, Lora Bell of Kansas City and Sherri Bell of Grandview, MO; and 8 grandchildren. Michael was a favorite uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by one brother, Wendell Ray Bell; and one sister, Patricia Ann Bell.

Michael was a United States Army Veteran. He was very passionate about his music and could play many instruments. His passion for music lives on through his many students throughout the years. Michael's passion for fishing was second to his music. Michael lived in Richmond, Kansas City, Warrensburg and Grandview.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following the inurnment at the Richmond VFW Post, located at 312 Clark Street in Richmond, MO.
