Michael Dean "Mike" McGinness was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world with peace on Friday, September 23 ^rd , surrounded by his loving family.

He was born to Michael and Kathy (Buchanan) McGinness on August 26, 1968. Mike grew up in Hardin, Missouri, and moved to Lexington, Missouri, where he had his beloved son, John Michael.

Mike loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He told tale after tale of catching monsters the same size as he was, but of course, no one else was ever around to verify his claims. Mike also loved music and his heart basked in 80s rock 'n' roll.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Ralph McGinness, step-father, Ronnie Haynes, grandparents, Lillian and Herschel Richie, and Bill and Imogene Buchanan. He leaves behind wife, Crystal McGinness, son, John Michael, daughter, Christeena, grandchildren, Madison, Trinity, and Matthew, mother and step-father, Bob and Kathy Buchanan, step-mother, Janice, brother, Jason, sisters, McErin and Keri (Chris), nieces, Allison, Kerrigan, and Ella, nephew, Brandon, great-niece, Claire, as well as many cousins and friends.
