MILLARD FRANKLIN " M.F." BREWER, JR.

Millard F. " M.F." Brewer, Jr., 79, of Richmond, MO, died at 9:53 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2010, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Millard was born October 16, 1930 in Carroll County, MO to Millard Franklin and Mary Clementine (Duke) Brewer, Sr. He married Eva Marie Henderson on October 22, 1950; she survives of the home.
Survivors include three daughters and three sons-in-law, Debbie and Ned Beissenherz of Richmond, Gail and Larry Engle of Las Vegas, NV and Terri and Mark Proffitt of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Shirley Brewer of Excelsior Springs, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Beulah and Junior Graham of Richmond; 5 grandchildren and there spouses, Jason and Crystal Beissenherz, Jenny Ramsey, Joe and Angela Beissenherz, Josh and Staci Proffitt and Jeremy Proffitt.; and 7 great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, Millard was preceded in death by one brother, James W. Brewer; one sister, Patsy Brewer; and one grandson, Jeff Beissenherz.
Millard was a lineman for Missouri Public Service, Independence Electric and KCP&L for 40 years before retiring in 1994. He was also a farmer. He was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. He had lived in the Ray County area most of his life. He was an avid coon hunter.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Todd's Chapel.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
