MILTON E. PRICE

Milton E. Price, 73, of Richmond, MO, died at 8:45 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Price was born October 3, 1936, in Farmington, WV, to Paul O. and Zelma (Looman) Price. He married Joyce L. Early of Rockingham, MO on December 8, 1969; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one daughter Amy Y. Hannah of Orrick, MO; and one grand daughter Leah Hannah also of Orrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Milton had worked in the oil fields of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. He was a welder and welding instructor. He had also been a police officer in Lamar and Golden City, MO. He was of the Christian faith and had lived in Richmond the past twelve years. Mr. Price had served his country in the United States Marines and had been a member of the National Guard.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ray County Hospice.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2009, at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery Chapel, Higginsville, MO, with full military honors. Inurnment will be in the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO, in charge of the arrangements.
