Obituary

Dr. Nathan C. Inzerillo, D.O. 72, of Richmond, MO died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.

Dr. Inzerillo was born on July 25, 1945 in Kansas City, MO to Peter Anthony and Louise (Lascari) Inzerillo. He married Judith A. Saccone of Kansas City, MO on June 26, 1965. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter and Karen Inzerillo of Liberty, MO and Nathan Inzerillo and Nichole Jacobs-Inzerillo of Burbank, CA; two brothers, Peter Inzerillo of Platte City, MO and Matthew Inzerillo of Kansas City, MO.
In addition to his parents, Dr. Inzerillo was preceded in death by one brother, Benny Inzerillo.

Dr. Inzerillo graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1977 and has been in practice for 40 years. Prior to medical school he graduated from UMKC Pharmacy School (1971) and practiced pharmacy in Kansas City while attending medical school.

He opened his medical practice at the Richmond Family Clinic in 1978.  During his tenure there, he was awarded the faculty rank of Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine, and Professor of Clinical Medicine at his alma mater. He was also elected County Coroner in 1980, and served in that position for several years.

Dr. Inzerillo enjoyed many creative endeavors including: woodworking, building furniture and painting murals and other decorative displays around the house. He loved to cook, was an avid reader and listened enthusiastically to the music of Dean Martin and other artists from the Rat Pack era. Later in life, in his spare time, Nate was fond of restoring and rebuilding vintage cars.

Most of all he relished spending time with his family. Whether it was making happy memories on family road trips, barbecuing on the patio or just watching a favorite movie together; he loved his family very much, and he appreciated every moment he got to spend with them.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to either the Ray County Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
