Nieta L. Sheppard, 85, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City.

Nieta was born on July 7, 1939, in Camden, the daughter of Warren H. and Christine E. (Hicks) Harrison.  She was united in marriage to James C. Sheppard II on October 6, 1973; he preceded her in death on June 14, 2019.

Survivors include: daughter, Christi (David) Tackett of Rayville; three grandchildren: Brittany (Derrick) Sander of Concordia, Christopher Tackett of Rayville, and Adrian (Nathan) Woods of Cameron; and eight great-grandchildren: Maddox, Kiley, Colten, Liam, Warren, Evelyn, Henry, and Kallista.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and husband.
