Norma "Jean" Renfro, 76, of Richmond, died Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Shirkey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond; she was surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born on February 11, 1943, in Kansas City, the daughter of Clarence Woodrow and Bessie Frances (Dale) Coleman.  Jean was first married to Lloyd Allen Huffman of Kansas City, KS, on December 27, 1961; he preceded her in death on August 19, 1999.  Jean then married Charles Larry Renfro of Richmond on April 21, 2001; he survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: one son, Randy Huffman and his wife Sherri of Richmond; two step sons, David Renfro and his wife Tracey of Richmond and Kyle Renfro and his significant other Jill Paulus of Marshall; one step daughter Susan Balthrop of Kansas City; one sister, Diana Mings and her husband Delbert of Crystal Lakes; 2 grandsons, Rayder Huffman and Bo Huffman; 8 step-grandchildren: Jeremy (Brittany) Renfro, Ryan Renfro, Braydon Renfro, Morgan Renfro, Adrienne Balthrop, Abby (Josh) Burstert, Ashley (Reny) Reis, and Tanner Newman; two step-great-grandchildren: Avery Burstert and Rallen Renfro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, one daughter, Christine K. Huffman, two brothers, Donald Coleman and Tom Coleman, and one sister, Glenda Gragg.

Jean grew up and was educated in Kansas City.  After high school, she attended cosmetology school and moved to Richmond in 1963.  In addition to raising her children, Jean worked for many years as a beautician in the area, both out of her home and in the shops she owned.  She loved animals, especially her Shih Tzu dogs.  She always made sure her family had everything they needed and will be missed by her many friends.  Jean was of the Christian faith.
