NORMAN T. GROW, JR.

Norman T. Grow, Jr., 88, of Richmond, MO died Friday, August 3, 2012 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Norman was born on January 24, 1924 in Harrodsburg, KY to Norman T. and Blanch (Mitchell) Grow, Sr. He married Edna B. Wormsly in June of 1962; she preceded him in death in October of 1994.
Survivors include his companion, Beulah Green of Richmond; one step-son and his wife, John D. and Royetta Thompson of Richmond; several step- grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents and wife, Norman was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Norman was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. He also served during the Korean War, retiring as a Staff Sargent with the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Richmond VFW Post #4398. He had lived in Richmond since 1962. Norman was of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Memorial Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the South Point Cemetery in Orrick, MO with military honors provided by the Ray County Veterans.
