ORIE ELLA HOLTZCLAW

Orie Ella Holtzclaw, 92, of Richmond, MO died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.

Orie was born on January 13, 1923 in Richmond to William and Maude (Thompson) Blair. She first married William Davis. She later married Harlan Holtzclaw. They both preceded her in death.

Survivors include one sister, Virginia Larson of Lawson, MO; one great-grandson, Andrew Chase Schreier; two great-granddaughters, Ashley and Katie; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Orie was preceded in death by one brother, Bennie Blair; three sisters, Betty Graburger, Juanita and Geneva.

Orie was a tool setter at Lake City Arsenal before retiring. She lived in Richmond most of her life. She was a member of the Henrietta Baptist Church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Children's Mercy Hospital.
