Pamela Jean McCurley, 59, of Wood Heights, died unexpectedly Monday, October 22, 2018, at her home.

Pamela was born on March 28, 1959, in Kansas City, KS, to Alfred and Katherine "Kay" (Farrell) Heilbrunn.  She was united in marriage to Michael Leon McCurley of Kansas City, MO, on June 10, 1989.  He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: her mother Kay Heilbrunn of Scottsdale, AZ; one brother Mark Heilbrunn and his wife Sally of Phoenix, AZ; one sister Marla Williams and her husband Colin of Petaluma, CA; and her many friends, family, and all her animals.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father.

Pamela was a paralegal and worked for the Graham Law Office in Liberty for the past 19 years.  Her passion was her animals and pets that she cared for.  She was well loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to their local ASPCA shelter in Pamela's memory.
