Patricia Ann "Pat" O'Dell, 74, of Richmond, died unexpectantly on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at her residence in Richmond.

Pat was born on July 28, 1943 in Atherton, Mo the daughter of Joseph and Norine (Trindle) Perez.  She was united in marriage to Vernon O'Dell of Richmond on August 12, 1989.  He preceded her in death on March 9, 2004.

Survivors include; two sons, James Fain of Richmond and William Fain of Richmond; one daughter, Terri Shook of Lee's Summit; two sisters, Carolin Stigall of Richmond and JoAnne Raider of Grant City; 8 grandchildren: Misty Shook, Ally Fain, Dabney Bearpaw-Mead, Nikki Jo Sackman, Robert Joseph Shook, Jr., Jakub Allen Shook, Steven Busick and Lee Ground, Jr.; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth G. Perez and one sister, Leona Briant.

Pat was housewife and homemaker and also worked outside of the home as a Quality Control Inspector at Orbseal in Richmond for over ten years.  She was of the Baptist faith and lived in the Knoxville area most of her life.  She loved and took great care of her family and was especially close to her sisters.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Patricia Ann O'Dell Memorial Fund.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodland Cemetery in Richmond.  Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com .
