PATRICIA ANN "PAT" VANTRUMP
Patricia Ann "Pat"'Vantrump, 82, of Norborne, Mo, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Carroll House in Carrollton, Mo.
Pat was born on September 18, 1934 near Norborne, Mo to Cleo and Mary Lee (Deitch) Wagner. She married Donald Wesley Vantrump of Norborne, Mo on April 4, 1954. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2015.
Pat was blessed with 3 daughters; Katherine Ann (Brett) Lake of Norborne, Mo, Kimberly Sue McMullin of Mission, Ks, Donna Kay (Charlie) Lichte of Norborne, Mo, 1 sister, Peggy Jane Smith of Ozark, Mo, 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Casey Leigh and Jimmy Lester, Susan Kay and Billy Creason, Jacob Scott and Sarah McMullin, 8 great-grandchildren, Sevin Heins, Rylei, Rynna and Cyrus Lester, Emma Creason, Maddox Heins, Camdyn and Luke McMullin along with several other family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her heavenly angel, daughter, Cynthia Sue Vantrump, who died in infancy and a granddaughter, Amy Katherine Heins, who also died in infancy.
Pat was an avid homemaker and loved to cook. She was a member of the Norborne First Baptist Church. She was a 1952 graduate of Norborne High School. She worked side by side with her husband, Donnie on their farm north of Norborne. Pat loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was active in several community organizations throughout her lifetime. She had lived in the Norborne area all of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Norborne First Baptist Church or to Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norborne First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Fairhaven Cemetery on Norborne, Mo.
