PATRICIA L. RITCHIE

Patricia L. Ritchie, 76, of Richmond, MO died at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at her home.
Patricia was born on July 20, 1934 in Hardin, MO to Otis and LuVena (Jones) Halterman. She married Harry D. Ritchie of Richmond on July 26, 1979; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Louise Farmer of Warrensburg, MO; two brothers and one sister-in-law, William Halterman of Raymore, MO and Richard and Sandy Halterman of Chilicothe, MO; and two grandchildren, DeeAnn Farmer and Chase Farmer.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Farmer who died in infancy; two brothers, C.O. Halterman and Jack Halterman; and four sisters, Wilma Meador, Evelyn Brown, Carol Williams and Janice Anderson.
Patricia worked at Lake City Arsenal for 32 years before retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Hardin First Baptist Church. She had lived in the Hardin and Richmond area most of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hardin First Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hardin Cemetery.
