Patsy Ann Dyke, 75, of Richmond formerly of Lawson, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at Shirkey's Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond

Patsy was born on September 18, 1943, in North Kansas City to Ralph and Eletta (Wholf) Whipple.  She was united in marriage to Gerald Dyke of Independence, on October 7, 1967.  He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Chris (Jo) Dyke of Holt and Jeff (Donna) Dyke of Kansas City; one brother, Tom (Anne) Whipple of Grove, OK; one sister, Bonnie Donaldson of Warsaw; 3 grandchildren, Lauren Dyke, Jacob Dyke and Kerstynn Dyke; and 2 step grandsons Brett Pettit and Mitchell Pettit.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patsy was reared and educated in North Kansas City, and graduated from high school there.  She was of the Christian faith and active in her church.  She was the best Grandmother you could have.  She enjoyed doing crafts and scrapbooking.  She especially loved her bulldogs.

Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
