PAUL EDWARD ANGELBECK, SR.

Paul Edward Angelbeck, Sr. 86, of Richmond, MO died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Paul was born on April 25, 1930 in Leavenworth, KS to Ernest and Marie (Goehner) Angelbeck.

Survivors include; three sons, Bruce Angelbeck and wife Carol of Richmond, Paul Angelbeck Jr. and wife Yvonne of Chillicothe, OH, and Kevin Angelbeck and companion Debbie Day of Andersonville, TN; one daughter, Paulette Casey and husband Daren of Lathrop, MO; 3 children, Page, Robin, and Carey, residences unknown, from a later marriage; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and sister Rita Ewert of Liberty, MO.  He was preceded by his parents, and two brothers Harold Angelbeck and Andrew Angelbeck, and sister Betty Burbach.

Paul worked for Ford Motor Company. He later worked at General Mills in Kansas City, Mo. He was of the Christian faith. He was born and raised in Leavenworth, KS, then resided in Kansas City, Mo. and Joplin, MO where he survived the 2011 EF5 tornado. He later moved to Richmond, MO to reside with his son Bruce.

A private memorial service will be on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, with burial to follow at a later date at Mount Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, KS.  Online condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com .  Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of arrangements.
