PAUL E. ARNOLD

Paul E. Arnold, 87, of Orrick, Mo died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Paul was born on December 16, 1926 in Orrick to James Henry and Georgia Olene(Edwards) Arnold. He married Dorothy M. Dahm of Peculiar, Mo on August 29, 1951; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include, two sons and two daughters-in-law, Harold and Beth Arnold of St. Joseph, Mo and Howard and Donna Arnold of West Lafayette, IN; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Katherine and Larry Hudlemeyer of Rapid City, SD and Joyce and Randy Finley of Orrick; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Wilbur Arnold of Orrick, Dean Arnold of Ludlow, Mo, Robert and Maxine Arnold of Orrick, Victor and Esther Arnold of Ft. Scott, KS, and Philip and Susan Arnold of Ft. Scott, KS; four sisters and four brothers-in-law, Doris and Thomas Boyce of Blue Springs, MO, Lena and A.I. Davidson of Dumas, TX, Carol and John Nelson of Bixby, OK and Georgann and Bob Anderson of Independence, MO; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandsons.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by three sisters, Jessie Edwards, Lila Arnold and Sharon Peterson; and one granddaughter, Laura Finley.
Paul was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. He was Co-Owner and Operator of Arnold Brothers Feed and Grain in Orrick from 1947 till 1974. He farmed from 1974 until he retired. Paul was a former Board Member of the Bank of Orrick. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orrick, where he served as a Deacon and was the church treasurer for many years.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Orrick.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery west of Orrick where military honors will be provided by the Ray County Veterans. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
