PAUL E. WILLIAMS
Paul E. Williams, 79, of Liberty, MO died on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly, MO.
Paul was born on December 30, 1932 in Hardin, MO to Paul C. and Sylvia (O'Connor) Williams. He married Mary Rose Fifer of Norborne, MO on November 25, 1954; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Janet Williams of Garden City, KS; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Gaughran of Napoleon, MO and Serena Smith of Liberty, MO; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Angie and Mark Tolbert, Kami and Mark Murphy, Daniel and Shelbie Williams, Joseph and Rebecca Williams, Christina Williams, Justin Williams and Aaron Smith; and 4 step-grandchildren and their spouses, Heather and Joe Pinter, Carrie and Danny Reddell, Jessica and Mario Gonzalez and Brian Gaughran; and 21 great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Migneault.
Paul worked in the paint and paint repair departments at the Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO for 46 years before retiring in 1999. Paul was a member of the U.A.W. Union Local # 249. He was also a member of the Liberty Masonic Lodge #31 A.F. & A.M. and was an honorary member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was of the Baptist faith. Paul lived in Ray County, MO and Liberty, MO most of his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or to the Preferred Hospice of Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 1:45 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
