Paula Jean Breen, 82, of Richmond, died unexpectedly, Friday, October 9, 2020, at her home.

Paula was born on January 11, 1938, in St. Louis, the daughter of Walter Fred and Esther Catherine Louise (Hirth) Steinmeyer.  She was united in marriage to Michael John Breen, Jr., of St. Louis on January 1, 1956; he preceded her in death on February 25, 2017.

Survivors include: two sons, Michael John (Suzan) Breen, III, of Rayville, and Steven Patrick Breen of Richmond; 3 grandsons: Michael John Breen, IV, Jackson Steven Breen, and Darien Robert Breen; and sister, Mary Ann Weiner of Gresham, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, Donna Leigh Breen.

Paula was reared and educated in St. Louis and graduated from Normandy High School in 1955.  She worked with her husband, traveling throughout the Midwest, selling handbags and shoes.  Paula and her husband were inseparable. She was a devoted mother, loved dogs, and collected anything to do with frogs.
