Pauline E. (Miller) Amery 99, a resident of Norborne, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Richmond. Pauline was born on June 25, 1926, the daughter of Leo and Merlin (Paul) Miller. She married Donald Amery who preceded her in death on June 30, 2022.
She is survived by one son John (Terri Rocke) Amery of Norborne; granddaughter, Molly (Mark) Bendon; niece and nephew Jimmy Amery and Brenda Hisle. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Donna Sue Gray and Beth Ann Amery; and one sister, Joann Quigley.
Pauline and Donald Amery were married on Christmas Eve, 1944. While Dad farmed, Pauline taught school in the Stet area, then joined Dad in the farming business, Amery Farms, and was a home maker until both she and Dad joined Stet Feeders Supply; Dad managed and Pauline was the accountant. They retired from that after 20+ years and remained working and running Amery Farms. They were both baptized in the Bethany Church October of 1945 and continued to be of service to and with the church until moving to Oakridge Assisted Living in Richmond, Missouri. Pauline had several hobbies including quilting with the Ladies Aid of the church, gardening and hosting many receptions for the community.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow services in Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer.
The family suggest memorial contributions in Paulines honor be made to either Bethany Church of the Brethren in Stet or Help Services Cancer Fund in Carrollton.
