PEARL "Granny Pearl" Riddle

Pearl Riddle, 94, of Richmond, Mo died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Mo.

Pearl was born on December 16, 1920 in Richmond to Pearl C. and Nettie G. (Hawkins) Sloan.

Survivors include; one son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Sandra Lusby of Destin, FL; three daughters and sons-in-law, Florence and Jack Wallace of Richmond, Mary and Bruce Mills of Blue Rapids, Ks and Alice Rice of Excelsior Springs, Mo; and one sister, Mary Boyer of Lawrence, Ks. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by three brothers, Jewell, Forrest "Bill" and Woodrow Sloan and one sister, Opal Tarwater.

Pearl was a meter maid for the city of Richmond for over fifteen years. She was a member of the Richmond Church of God. She was a lifelong Ray County resident. Pearl will be greatly missed and she was loved by all that knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.at the Woodland Cemetery in Richmond. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
