PHILLIP K. FOSTER

Phillip K. Foster, 73, of Richmond, MO died Monday, April 14, 2014 at his home.

Phillip was born on August 22, 1940 in Camden, MO to Robert and Marie (Neal) Foster. He married Elizabeth Ann Alexander of Richmond on June 10, 1961; she survives of the home.

Survivors include one son, Robert Russell "Rusty" Foster of Richmond; two daughters and son-in-law, Judy and Greg Petry of Murfreesboro, TN and Kathy O'Doniel of Richmond; 5 grandchildren, Tyler Hoeppner, Dylan Petry, Seth Petry, Jacob O'Doniel and Chris McCFall; and 3 great-grandchildren, Aireanna Hoeppner, Taylor Hoeppner and Dayton Hoeppner.

Phillip was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Zachery O'Doniel and Lauren Paige Foster.

Phillip was employed by Allis Chalmers for 35 years as a welder after retirement. He enjoyed farming and working at the Richmond Water Plant. He was of the Methodist faith. Phillip had lived in the Richmond area most of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Crossroads Hospice.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome
