PHYLLIS KAY FULTZ

Phyllis Kay Fultz, 76, of Kearney, MO died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her home.

Phyllis was born on December 15, 1938 in Missouri City, MO to Talmage Otto and Nellie Jane (Lee) Munkers. She married William David Fultz of Horton, KS on January 12, 1957. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa Fultz of Polo, MO; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lawanda and Daniel Jackson of Overland Park, Ks and Sharon and Scott Hunt of Kearney, Mo; 6 grandchildren Caleb Jackson, Jami Haslett, Becky Roney, Robby Taylor, Marisa Fultz and Michelle O'Grady; and 12 great- grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sara Parson; one sister, Loleda Keller; and two grandchildren, Cass Jackson and Michael Fultz.

Phyllis was a housewife and homemaker. She also worked for 15 years as a private secretary for Jim Pence. She was a member of the Assembly of God. She lived in the Kansas City area before moving to Kearney in 1990.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the St. Jude's Hospital or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
