DENZIL W. PULLIAM

Denzil W. Pulliam, 90, of Richmond, MO, died at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.
Denzil was born on October 3, 1919 in Turney, MO to Norris W. and Genevieve V. (Silvius) Pulliam. He married Lealla Van Soest of Strasburg, ND on June 10, 1940. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly J. and Bill Parker of Richmond, MO; three grandchildren and their spouses, Laura MacMillian, Tom and Paula Parker, Monte and Rebecca Parker; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Denzil was preceded in death by five brothers, W. A., Curtis, Joe, Carl and Harold Pulliam.
Denzil was a farmer, retiring in 1981. He also was a carpenter. He was a member of the Millville United Methodist Church. He had lived in Ray County, MO most of his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Millville United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery north of Hardin, MO.
